Medicinal: crushed tea tree leaf paste is often applied to wounds as well as brewing the leaves for throat infections.

Other known features: Glasshouse Mountain tea tree is endemic to the Glasshouse Mountains. It is known for it's aromatic leaves and twisted trunk and branches.
